The Library Project

It's Friday night, and I'm scrambling to create a blog so I can participate in The Library Project hosted by Adrienne over at Chezzetcook Modern Quilts.  I heard there is a prize to be had this month.  So here goes.

I had toyed with joining TLP earlier, but I couldn't make up my mind on the projects, and I felt left out not having a blog.  It seems that prize-pressure is a good motivator.

I have chosen four projects that have been on my to-do list for some time:

1.  Ko Ko pattern from May/June 2012 issue of Fons and Porters Love of Quilting.  The pattern uses Shweshwe fabric from South Africa.  I have some lovely Shweshwe fabric that I picked up in Johannesburg.  You can learn more about Shweshwe fabric here.

2.  Broken Herringbone.  I'll be following a tutorial by Play Crafts.

3.  Refracted for TNT.  I'll be following a tutorial by Happy Quilting.

4.  Stamp Collection.  I'll be following a tutorial by Oh Fransson.

Here's my link up for February's check in.  Thanks to Jenn over at A Quarter Inch from the Edge for the head's up on the prizes.

Now off to organize some projects to work on tomorrow at the Sew In hosted by Maritime Modern Quilt Guild.  I'm also hoping to get some blog advice from the ladies.
