It was difficult to decide on a quilting plan. I watched Angela Walters: Dot to Dot Quilting (this is an affiliate link whereby I receive a small commission if you purchase the class). I really enjoyed this class, and it gave me the confidence to try something new. Although I need a lot more practice, I am very pleased with the results. I love any quilting plan that doesn't require marking.

Loop FMQ in the background and starburst quilting in the squares.
I found the backing fabric in my stash and pieced it with the last piece of the green fabric so I didn't have to match the pattern.

ReplyDeleteYour quilting is wonderful! I have taken that Craftsy class and have a particular quilt that I want to use that technique on, but I have been too nervous to try. You make me want to pull it out and just dive in! I should go watch it again as a refresher... LOL! Beautiful quilting and I love the colors! Well done!

ReplyDeleteI love how you quilted this one! Great idea to add the green stripe to the back so you didn't have to match the seam. That backing fabric is just too good!
