TGIFF - One Block Wonders

Two more finishes from my FAL Q3 goals!!!!  These baby quilts were started back here.  Baby quilts shouldn't take four months to complete, but life always gets in the way of my quilting fun.

This Diamond Path pattern  was created by Sandy @ Upstairs Hobby Room for her  One Block Wonders BOM

I procrastinate finishing a project because I never know what quilting motif to use.  These just needed to be finished, so simple FMQ loops.

These 25-inch stroller/car seat quilts will be delivered next week.

I think the teal and orange is my favourite.

It's a great pattern to use 2.5 inch strips.

  1. Congratulations on the double finish, Anja, they turned out great! Sometimes simple is really the best way to go. The block design gets to shine. :)

  3. They are both so lovely I don't think I could pick one!- great job on finishing 2!!

  4. Both color combinations are great! The loopy quilting is perfect to contrast with the straight line piecing. I need to remember this smaller stroller size when I need a fast baby gift!

  5. I like them both, but like you, I'm partial to the teal and orange. Something about that pop of orange is just right. :) FMQ loops are the best, aren't they? These two little quilts are lovely all around, great finishes!

  7. Two great finishes. My love affair with orange is still going strong so the teal and orange is my pick.

  8. Two lovely finishes. The teal and orange is striking. But since green is my favourite colour that one is my top pick.

  13. Yay Anja! I can't believe this, but I think the purple one is my favourite! (insert face of huge surprise there) because you know how I love all kinds of blue. They both are terrific and I've bookmarked the tutorial.
