WIP Wednesday - How Did I Get So Many WIPs????

I realize that I am a little (okay...maybe a lot) behind on sewing due to being away in July, but where did all these WIPs I keep finding in my sewing room come from????  Although I am afraid, I will need to make a new list so I don't forget about some of them...which I may have done already.  Oops.

Step 2 of Yvonne's Snowflake Shimmer QAL was cutting.  Thank goodness for an easy step.  I can't wait to start sewing.  (Step 1 was fabric selection.)

I had to catch up on my Modern HST Sampler blocks hosted by Alyce @ Blossom Heart Quilts.  Even though some of the HST's were small, these three blocks sewed up quickly.

Block #13 - Turnstile

Block 14 - Introspection

Block 15 - Windmill

Patting myself on the back for these perfect points.  I impressed myself!

I also worked on a few more smaller WIPs this week.  The goal is to have a finish for Friday.

  3. Great job on those points! It's so easy to accumulate a pile of WIP's, there's just so many projects to make!

  4. Oh your cut fabric looks great! I'm excited to get to the sewing part, too, and trying to have patience. LOL

  5. Well, looks like you're having fun, no matter how many WIP's you have going on. I know what you mean, though. I'm itching to start something new, but I have several projects that need finishing first...

  6. It's ok to have lots of WIPs - gives you plenty of choices for what you want to work on for the day! Thanks for sharing on Midweek Makers

  8. I have been feeling the same way lately. I just have to get some finishes done. I actually made myself a "short" list just this morning of things I hope to make progress on this weekend. We'll see how it goes. :)

  9. Love them points! At least with WIP you always have something to work on.

  11. They're lovely blocks. I don't suffer from an extensive amount of WIPs. I suffer from the inability to say no when I'm struck with inspiration....lol.

  13. I'm pretty sure WIP are like rabbits...once you get two...well they just multiply :)

  14. If you find the answer to your question, let me know, please! I too can never contain my WIPs. Maybe Tish (above) is right - they are simply like rabbits.
