Friday Finish - 2016 Crayon Challenge

A small finish this week.  I signed up for my first Instagram swap hosted by @thecraftyfatty.  Everyone received a postcard with three crayon colours, and you were only allowed to use those three colours.

Here are the my colours:

The closest match to Kona colours were:  Breakers, Iced Peach, and Turquoise.

I decided to use Violet Craft pattern that I used here.  You can find the pattern Forest Abstractions: Wild Carrot here.

The challenge called for a mini, so this finishes about 8 x 18 inches.

I'm on Instagram as @AnjaQuilts.

  5. Absolutely, love these colors together in this flower. Congrats on your finish. Man, it would be tempting to put an orange binding on it, with those lovely blues, but that would defeat the purpose of the challenge, huh? :)
