TGIFF - Bee Charity Quilt

This week's finish is not totally finished, but my part of the project is finished.  My Bee pieced a quilt to be donated to charity.  I quilted it, and now it's gone to someone else for binding.

I don't know what the block is called.  And before you ask...no, I did not choose the colours.  Although you all know that orange makes me happy.

These photos were taken last weekend before the snow all disappeared.

This is a large quilt -- 80 x 90 inches.  So an easy all-over stipple in cream thread for a quick finish.

I wonder what our next group project will be.

  3. Great colours!! I also go to a large all-over stipple on large quilts that I want to finish quickly. I like the look and it's pretty easy to do.

  10. Oh I just LOVE this! Those particular juicy oranges and that crisp blue...well I think of oranges, the fruit, under blue skies, nvm the snow! What an effective pattern. Hmmm, a great scrap buster I could see...

  12. I love orange! It's (maybe) my favorite color, which partially explains why I love halloween. Your use of the blur and orange together is really fun!
