WIP Wednesday - More Pattern Testing

Not a lot of sewing happening lately.  I've been working overtime on some projects at the office, and I had a minor eye procedure.  As an FYI, having your eyes frozen is an odd sensation and not one that I'm interested in repeating.  But the worst part is now having to put drops in my eyes four times a day for two weeks.  I'm starting to think that the clogged tear ducts would have been better to deal with than these drops.

But I did manage a little of bit sewing -- pattern testing for Tish @ Tish's Adventures in Wonderland and Dave @ Dave the Quilt Engineer.  Here are the fabrics I started with.

The pattern is still under wraps -- due to be revealed and released in April -- so just a little sneak peek of the sewing.

I'm excited to finish the piecing and work out a quilting plan.

Stay tuned for the big reveal next month.

  5. Seeing these pictures makes me absolutely giddy :) I do hope your eye is feeling better soon. I hate doing eye drops, I always end up hitting everywhere but my eyes.

  9. Love your colours. I know what you are talking about. Had my eyes frozen in February and March last year. Get better soon. Drops are a necessity evil, lol.

  11. I'm looking forward to this big reveal! Hope your eyes feel better! I had the opposite problem awhile back, and had to have plugs inserted in my tear ducts. Weird, huh? Any procedure done to the eyes is uncomfortable! Enjoy your weekend! XO

  17. I hope your eyes are feeling better and the drops are finished now. I will need eye surgery before long and am so dreading it. Nice colours, though impossible to guess what the pattern is. The main surprise in there is no orange (tease, hehe).

  20. I thought freezing eyeballs was something Canadians got used to! LOL!
I know it is easy to forget, but try to stick with the drops. I have had to do four drops a day often in the past decade. It is worth it!
