TGIFF - Chain Linx Table Runner

I love testing patterns for designers, especially when they are friends.  This is Chain Linx by Karen @ Sugar Free Quilts.  The pattern has four sizes:  20 x 20 inches, 20 x 40 inches, 40 x 60 inches, and 60 x 60 inches.

I finished this table runner many, many months ago, but I never got around to quilting it.  The background is Kona Ash.  I used scraps for all the chains, including Kona Poppy.

I did an all-over boxy stipple in light grey thread.

Although the quilting is not the most creative, it does give the table runner some texture.

This makes for a fun table runner.

But it could also be used as a wall hanging.

You can find Sugar Free Quilts on both Instagram and Etsy.

  2. A winner as a quilt design and I like the boxy stipple ! You got to use up scraps and stash so I think that this makes it a hit for both you and the pattern designer. Well done!
