MQG Swap 2020

I participated in the Modern Quilt Guild mini swap.  My partner and I swapped at QuiltCon.

I combined two paper pieced patterns by Quiet Play.  Kona colours used were:  Rich Red, Mango, Buttercup, Kiwi, Everglade, Lake, Wisteria, Heliotrope, Sangria, and Pomegranate, with Kona Silver for background.

Star and loop free-motion quilting in grey thread for a quick finish.

I received an improv mini showcasing bright colours.

A fun bright backing.

  2. Hi Anja! What a cute mini project you made for the swap. And your quilting design for it is just perfect - stars for the stars. I love it! I'll bet your swap partner was thrilled. And the piece you received is nice as well. The improv shapes on the front have their colors perfectly represented on the backing. It's nice that you could swap at the show. Thank you so much for linking up with TGIFF today. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I love the energy and noise that I can hear when the mini quilt swap happens! How fun to get the opportunity to swap in person. Looks like a great match to me. :)
