Push-Pull Quilt Along

Are you sewing along with Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl for the Push-Pull Quilt Along?  I started out strong, but then got behind.  I'm using Kona Red, Morning Glory, and Surf.

Trimming the 2.5-inch HSTs were easier with Bloc Loc rulers.

And then there were more 2.5-inch blocks.  😲

It took me 30 minutes to lay out the blocks in the right order.  After that, I didn't have the brain power to sew them together.

But it's now all sewn together!  That was a lot of work for a 22-inch block.

Back on track...just in time for the next step of instructions to be released tomorrow.

  1. That block is definitely the most intense; it came together really well for you!

  4. It took me quite a while to lay out my pieces on the floor, also. This is turning out awesome and I like your framed statement.

  5. Yes, I'm also sewing along with Yvonne on this one and chose to make the lap size quilt. I'm really impressed with myself because I'm completely up to date (I usually fall behind on those things too). I chose purples and pinks for mine and I'm loving it so far. Yours is going to look beautiful!
