Hands2Help Comfort Quilt

Sarah @ Confessions of a Fabric Addict hosts an annual quilt drive for various charities -- Hands2Help.
You can read more about it here.

I rescued a quilt top from a friend.  She received the blocks as part of an online bee, but she was not happy with the top.  I've now quilted it, and it will be donated in the name of Hands2Help.

I quilted two quilts at the same time.  I had a piece of wide-back that would not have not been wide enough if I had cut it into two pieces.  So I thought I'd try two at a time.  I think this might be my new solution to get some UFOs finished.

  3. I love those blocks. Luckily, you were there to quilt and find a home for the finished quilt. I'm not a long arm quilter, but it sounds like a great idea to quilt two at a time.

  5. Sounds like a great solution :) Sometimes the unexpected works, right? And the top is lovely so thanks for "saving" it and giving it to a new home. xo Melanie

  6. What a great way to rescue and repurpose a quilt top. So I guess the big question now is how much wide backing do you have compared to number of pieced quilt tops?! :)
