TGIFF - Penguin Party

Welcome to Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday.  TGIFF is the opportunity to share your finish from this week.

If you would like to host TGIFF, there are lots of dates available for the remainder of 2020. You can sign up here.

I pieced the Penguin Party pattern by Elizabeth Hartman back in November at Sewtopia.  And then the quilt top sat in my UFO file.  But it's now finished!

I love the Prism wideback by Studio e Fabrics.  I've been hoarding a few pieces.  I'm glad I used the turquoise on the back of this quilt, but now I'm sad that I used it.  I need more!

Elizabeth Hartman has great patterns, but there is always a bunch of tiny pieces.  I always seem to "forget" this until I'm cutting the pieces.

It's time to link up your finish from this week.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. The aqua prism fabric reminds of their antarctic and watery environment. Elizabeth Hartman's patterns do have a lot of tiny pieces, but they are definitely worth the time and effort!

  2. The penguins are adorable! I am working on Delightful Desert and agree about the pieces but I am a one block at at time kind of woman with her blocks!

  8. That is seriously beautiful and the backing is perfect for it! I'd be sad to have used it, too, though, lol.

  16. That is super cute! I've made a few of Elizabeth Hartman's patterns and I agree - lots of pieces! But once the cutting is done, they usually come together pretty easily. :-)
