Stay at Home Round Robin - Round 6

We are on the penultimate (aka second last -- I've always wanted to use that word LOL) week of the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) hosted by Gail @ Quilting Gail.

Round 6 is being hosted by Susan @ Quilt Fabrication.  Susan choose log cabin for this week's theme.

I decided to be a rebel and combine Rounds 6 and 7 into one border.  I made 6.5-inch quarter log cabin blocks using 1.5-inch strips.

I used Kona: Sassy Pink, Bright Pink, Honeysuckle, Valentine, Pomegranate, Sangria.  These blocks will go in the corners of the final round.  You'll have to check back next week to find out the theme for the final round.

I hope you have been enjoying sewing along with us, or finding some inspiration if you are not participating.

Each week, there will be a linky party hosted by the blogger who designed that week's round.

January 11 - Centre - Gail  @ Quilting Gail

January 18 - Round 1 - Chris @ Chrisknitssews

January 25 - Round 2 - Emily @ The Darling Dogwood

  2. Hi Anja! Oooh, penultimate! Great word and one you can hardly ever sneak into normal, everyday conversation. Love your cute LC blocks. I am doing something similar . . . and they may end up in the corners like yours. OR, they may not. HAHA! Can't wait to see where you end up next week. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
