I'm tempted to purchase the pattern for the other bag sizes...but I think I need to slow down on this addiction before it gets out of hand.
You can make your own ties out of fabric or use ribbon. I made three with different types of ribbon and one with fabric ties.
These are great stash-busting projects.
I thought it was fitting to take the photo in the same place that I acknowledged I had an addiction with zippered pouches.
And who do I think I'm kidding??? I'll be making more.

Those bags look fun to make... And are a great way to use up some stash fabric you don't know what else to do with. I bet you are going to fill your drawstring bags with pouches. They look so bright and cheery sitting in the snow!

ReplyDeleteThey look great! I love the idea of gifting at Christmas in bags like this that are reusable instead of with lots of paper that gets thrown away.
ReplyDeleteI love your draw string pouches- they are adorable- great for using up stash and wrapping that special little present......the only thing is the bag is so nice I think their expectation of whats inside may go way up ! lol!

ReplyDeleteBags are one of my favourite things to make. I think "quick" projects like this (compared to quilts) make it easy to get addicted. So many possibilities and it doesn't take a big time commitment.
ReplyDeleteYour bags are adorable and they are addicting. I have made many of them for beads of courage. I bought the pattern so I could make the tiny bags. They are even more adorable. I keep my wonder clips in my tiny bag. Buying the pattern for me was a good investment. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI think when you find something that works for your purpose it's wonderful! I, too, did a dance with the zipper bags for many weeks, but never burned out. I have not yet done the drawstring bags. I'll check out your pattern rec's. I love your bright colors here. Sure does brighten up a winter scene.
