May (Is) Was For Makers

Lindsey @ LR Stitched started a wonderful campaign for the month of May to support independent designers.  I committed to purchasing five patterns, one per week, for the month of May.  Unfortunately, I couldn't make up my mind which patterns to purchase, so I'm just now getting around to my blog post.
May Is For Makers | LRstitched.com

Jeni Baker @ In Color Order has a great tutorial for a lined drawstring bag.  I have made a few of these bags, so decided to purchase the pattern which has eight different sizes.

And then over to Anna @ Noodlehead.  I've already made Anna's Road Trip Case pattern, so I decided to give her Maker's Tote a try.

I've been eyeing the patterns of Libs Elliott for some time but was not brave enough to purchase them.  She has a combo for The Rebel Quilt and Just Like Heaven, so I decided to go for it.

I've tried a few of the tutorials created by Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl.  Since I know her style, I felt comfortable that I would like her patterns and purchased Red Herring.  I'm looking forward to selecting fabric for this.

I enjoyed the mystery quilt along hosted by Cheryl @ Meadow Mist Designs, so decided to purchase her Arrows All Around pattern.

Time to search my stash for some fabrics for all of the projects.  It's going to be a busy summer.  Stay tuned for updates on my progress.

  13. I could happily make every one of the patterns you purchased Anja! I've made patterns designed by Yvonne and Cheryl, and love them. Why in the world would you not be brave enough to purchase the Libs Elliott patterns when you did such stellar work with Jaybird Quilts stuff?! Silly goose. Watching for all that you do with excitement here.
