I successfully made each block and posted for 100 days on Instagram.
My first layout was each block in the order it was made. I thought about re-organizing by colour, or some other sensible method. But I didn't have a plan when I made the blocks -- I was using my scrap pile -- so there is no coordination of fabrics or colours. So it got too complicated trying to figure out a layout for 100 blocks, so I decided to leave them as is. Less stress and headache.
Here are a few of my favourite blocks.
The blocks are now all pieced together. Going for a simple all over free motion stipple -- the focus and goal is to finish projects.

ReplyDeleteIT's fabulous. I've done just over 60 of the blocks and it's gone back on my UFO pile. I really need to finish it after seeing the great quilt you've made
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Love all the colours and the layout.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks wonderful just the way it is! Good decision on your part. :) Now that takes some dedication and discipline. I don't think I could do that. Great finish, Anja!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching these blocks over the last 100 day. 2017 will not be the same without them. This will be a great quilt when these blocks are all put together.
ReplyDeleteSeeing all those blocks together and knowing that you pieced them in 100 days, blows my mind. That was a crazy amount of work when you think about it. I'm all about the finishing of quilts this year. Can't wait to celebrate with you when you finish!
