WIP Wednesday - Playing Catch Up

Time got away with me this fall, and I fell two months' behind in the Magnolia Mystery Quilt Along hosted by Cheryl @ Meadow Mist Designs.

My OMG for January is to do the November and December instructions.  The layout has been revealed, so it's no longer a mystery for me.

Here is what I have completed to date.

Half Flying Geese Units

HST Units

Additional pieces to create the flower units.

  4. Pretty colors. I did not start the mystery until December and spent most of New Years Eve and Day sewing it. I have all the blocks sewn, just need to get them sewn together.

Looking forward to seeing your finished quilt.

  9. I can’t wait to see your version! I’ve got my top all done and I ordered a king size sheet online for the backing - Yes, I was crazy enough to make the Queen size quilt. I probably won’t have the full quilt done for the parade, but I’ll definitely have the top of the quilt in there!
