Here are my versions of Ruth's blocks -- 12.5 inches unfinished.
Modern Economy Block - This is a great block for showcasing an awesome print.
Star Block - This was a fun block to make. I added some Kona Petal to the prints.
Wonky Star - This one was fun as well, but I did have trouble making sure I didn't cut off the points when making it wonky. A little bit of Kona Honey Dew for the win.
Inverted Star - Lots of flying geese for this block. I love how the Kona Petal goes with the bright pink.
Offset Log Cabin - I would like to try this block with solids, like Ruth did.
8-Pointed Star - Ruth's block was rainbow, but I decided to make a bright yellow star.
Nested Churn Dash - Some small pieces in the middle, but easy piecing so it wasn't too difficult.
Wonky Bento - Ruth's block has different colours in each of the four quadrants. I decided to make mine all the same.
There are four others blocks that I didn't make: Bear Paws, different sizes of the 8-pointed Star, Double Nested Churn Dash, and Apartment block. I'll need to make some more blocks if I decide to put these all together into a sampler quilt.
