TGIFF - Planview QAL

Welcome back to Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday (TGIFF).  TGIFF is the opportunity to share your finishes from this week.  You can find out who is hosting each week by heading over to the TGIFF blog.

I started this quilt back in 2022 -- a QAL hosted by Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl.  I finally quilted the top
last year, but I realized that I hadn't shared the finish.

For a quick finish, I opted for a simple overall stipple.

I used Kona Lemon, Chartreuse, Clover, Breakers, Mediterranean, and White.  The binding is Kona Clover.

It's time for you to link up your finishes from this week.  Please also visit a few of the link ups to get some inspiration and to share some quilty love with other makers.

TGIFF - Hemingway Pouch

Welcome to Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday (TGIFF).  TGIFF is the opportunity to share your finishes from this week.  You can find out who is hosting each week by heading over to the TGIFF blog.

I made a Hemingway Pouch by Center Street Quilts to fit a 6 x 12 inch ruler.  The pattern calls for foam stabilizer, so it makes for a great protective travel pouch for a ruler.

The ruler fits perfectly.  I tried to add my HuRTy ruler, but the pouch wouldn't accommodate two rulers.  So I made another one and reduced the angle at the top.  There is just enough room for both rulers.

I cut the quilted piece 16 x 15 inches, and I finally used my zipper tape bundle from Sallie Tomato.
