I was slow in choosing fabrics because I wanted to use what I had in my stash. But I'm now back on track.
Here are my first four blocks. I didn't take any in-progress photos because the blocks pieced together very quickly, which I wasn't expecting. Before I knew it, the blocks were finished.
The cutting was quite a production and took two full evenings.
I can't wait for the next set of blocks to be released next week.

With all the fabric cut, it's going to be quick and easy now, though (or so my theory goes). Your blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteI am quilting along and I agree on both counts. I kept pressing on to get the cutting done. Then the 1st piecing was more enjoyable and easy-going. Your colors look lovely! I chose the Black to Espresso and am using my stash of batiks. Some blocks I used two "similar" fat quarters.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty blocks! Love your fabrics! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
