2025 Stay at Home Round Robin - Round 2

Are you ready for round 2 for the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR)?

Round 2 was chosen by me -- half-square triangles (HST).  HSTs are versatile, and there are many choices you can make.  I generally make them the traditional 2-at-a-time way.  Blossom Heart Quilts has a great HST tutorial and math formula.  If you need some inspiration, check out Patchwork Square.

For this simple 12.5-inch HST block, I used Kona Meringue, Lapis, Pink Flamingo, Black, Corn Yellow, Magenta, Kumquat, Chartreuse, and Red.

I use Bloc Loc rulers to trim my HSTs.

As you can now see, I'm not following the traditional medallion/round robin layout.

Make sure you link up this week's round before Sunday night to be entered in the prize giveaway.

  7. Great variation to do blocks instead of rounds from the prompts. It will make a lovely sampler quilt. I love your bright color choices.

  8. Wonderful. When I get time, I know what I will do with HSTs for my quilt. I will just have to choose colors and sizes.
I am not doing traditional rounds either, so your prompt works gloriously for what I need.
