Several Kona colours are being crossed off the list: Pewter, Papaya, Orange, Citrus, Cyan, Rich Red, Silver, Kiwi, and Purple.
Now that the mystery of my longarm woes are solved, I'm getting lots of practice with my FMQ skills.
I know there was a better way to quilt this, but I had no ideas on how to quilt it. And since it was needed right away for the raffle, I had to do some quick quilting. I was surprised on how well the stippling looked in the end. My goal is getting quilts finished and out the door. And if that means easy quilting, then so be it. Finish is better than sitting in my sewing room.

That's a really nice raffle prize. I love it.

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThe coloured squares really steal the show the way they look like they are bouncing around!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this Anja! Your all-over stipple shape is SO MUCH like mine! It's funny how our meandering is like handwriting, each of us unique. This is startling though; I always see in my mind a fat bubble wrench shape or a thumb and hand viewed from the side. Sometimes I think of ghost heads (which is another shape). Love love the Kona colours in this one. They sing!
ReplyDeleteLooks Lovely! That stippling made great texture!

ReplyDeletelove it! The colours really pop and the backing is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt pattern and all of the colors that you were able to use. When a project is just sitting around, I agree that it is better to have it finished than to be super special. The stippling is beautiful and even. How do you get your lines to be so fluid and curvaceous?
ReplyDeleteOoh I love that!!! love the solids and it's a great pattern
