This is from the Wayward Transparency QAL hosted by Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl. It finishes at 68-inches square.
This is the first of my FAL Q1 goals.
The lighting is not great, but these are Kona Ice Frappe, Kale, and Spruce.
There was a lot of maneuvering of this quilt on my little domestic Singer, but I am pleased with the quilting.
We finally (sadly) received a load of snow this week. At first, I thought it would be good to have a nice backdrop for photos. Not so much. Trudging through the snow is not fun. And snow kept getting on the quilt. I finally gave up, with the hope that I had gotten some decent photos.
I'm linking up for the final link up.
If you have a finish this week, here's your chance to share it with everyone:
Thank Goodness It's Finish Friday @ Negligent Style

The colors on this are great! I'm not normally a green person but this one makes me really like greens. 😊 And your quilting is spot on, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI can see that wrestling that through your domestic Singer would have been a challenge, but the results look well worth the effort, Anja. It is a great quilting pattern for this quilt.
ReplyDeleteYou have definitely posted more than a few decent photographs of the quilt. It's beautiful, Anja, and it has a fresh minty feeling with the snow as a backdrop. I think you quilting accentuates it nicely and I am so glad you joined in the QAL!
ReplyDeleteCool colors. Looks lovely in the snow. My wayward is still a work in progress. I really like your quilting.
ReplyDeleteLove the greens! I think the quilting looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The quilting is fabulous - did you use any marking tool for your straight lines? The pictures in the snow remind me of pine trees in the winter - they are awesome! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. The fabrics and colors are perfect. The whole quilt is excellent.
ReplyDeleteI like your greens. I've seen several of these - they look like they were fun to do.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, great work.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for the quilting! Simple yet effective. And I love how your colours are close to the button Yvonne made!
ReplyDeleteIt’s awesome 👏. Love everything about this, the colours, the quilting and the pictures in the snow. Great job, Anja.
ReplyDeleteI love how you quilted this Anja. Your quilt looks so beautiful hanging on the line. It's clinched it for me with decided on layout.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the colors that you used, the greens are great!
ReplyDeleteGreat decision on the quilting! I think it fits perfectly! Yay for a finish!

ReplyDeleteStunning, Anja! Green is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteAnja, What a beautiful quilt. I so wanted to make a green wayward...I just had the hardest time deciding what greens, So I went with blue. Love you colors and your quilting.
ReplyDeleteThe quilting looks perfect, Anja! And I love your new blog header :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your beautiful finish! Thanks for linking up with TGIFF ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how you quilted it! Simple and beautiful lines that draw the eye into the center of the design. Those greens are beautiful against that fresh snow. Congrats on this finish!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you quilted it. I think an allover design would have detracted from the beautiful design and colors. Trudging through the snow was worth it, though, the photos are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love this quilt in greens! And against the snow, it looks really really good. Good choice on the quilting design; really enhances the movement in the quilt. Love your new logo and blog header!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Love your choice of Quilting!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fabulous, Anja! Your palette is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove this, and how you quilted it is perfect!
