Brenda was kind enough to send me a backyard quilt.
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to install it on the side of my shed. Needed repairs to my shed have not yet been completed because it has been raining for weeks and weeks. I plan to use outdoor velcro to install my backyard quilt once the shed has been fixed.

Or you can drill holes in each corner and either use washers and screws or zip ties.

The back yard quilts are 24 x 24 inches and are made of aluminum composite. UV resistant ink is used, and after 24 hours, each quilt is laminated.
I found it to be lightweight but yet it feels very sturdy.

Brenda has generously offered me a second backyard quilt to giveaway. Quilt Designs in the Yard only mails to Canadian addresses, so I have to limit this giveaway to those with a Canadian address. To enter the giveaway, please leave a comment telling me where you would hang a backyard quilt. Please also indicate that you have a Canadian address. The contest is open until noon on Saturday, June 15, 2019. If you are a no-reply commenter, I will have to re-draw for a winner.
I encourage you to head over to Quilt Designs in the Yard to read more about Brenda's backyard quilts and to check out the beautiful designs available. Here is one of them.

I'd love to have a backyard quilt to hang on the front of my house. That purple and green one in the picture looks amazing. Wouldn't go with my house, but that has never stopped me before, lol :) I love the blue one, too, and that would match the house...just sayin' ;)
ReplyDeleteI love these. I would hang this on my shed door. My shed is grey and white and needs something colourful to make it pretty, a quilt would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are very cool. I'd hang one on my fence outside my sewing room so I could look at the every day. I live in Canada!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the US but these are great. I would put it on my pole barn. Love all the designs.
ReplyDeleteOH MY! I just saw one on a house during my Saturday morning walk and thought, I MUST get one for my house! Awesome of her to give you one to keep and one t give! I'll have to look for one here in US and be thinking of which block I'd like it to be.
ReplyDeleteI have a barn shaped shed that’s so perfect for one, I made ma own from wood. But after so many years in our climate, it needs to be retired. What a generous give away!
ReplyDeleteI've got the perfect spot on the side of my garage where people walk up to the shoppe... it would be a fun partner for my rust mermaid with her scissors!
ReplyDeleteI've got the perfect spot on the wall in the backyard of my house as outdoor art! I could certainly use it to brighten up the boring beige wall! What a great give away.
ReplyDeleteI'd hang it on my fence near our back door. (Canada)
ReplyDeleteIf only I lived in Canada!
ReplyDeleteLove your Carpenter's Star!!!! And the other designs are also beautiful. I still have plans to paint myself a barn quilt for our relatively new storage shed--and I'm to use a Carpenter's Star! I did not know about outdoor velcro--thanks for the tip! (I'm not in Canada.)
