TGIFF - Staggered Pattern Testing

Back in February, I shared a quilt top using the Staggered pattern by Kitty @ Night Quilter.  It's now quilted!!

I used Alison Glass prints and Kona Charcoal for the background.

I used a variegated thread to quilt wishbones in the prints and loops in the background.

The wishbone quilting blended in with some of the prints.  I realized at this point that the wishbones and loops were similar, not my intention -- I just wanted to do two different motifs, but I like how it turned out.

You can purchase the Staggered pattern here.

  1. I love that the wishbones and loops are similar, but still different. Both motifs fit nicely into the strips and work perfectly. Another great finish for you!

  2. I like the combo of wishbones and loops, they flow together and are yet different.

  4. I really like the charcoal with the bright colors. The similar, but not the same, quilting motifs have a nice flow across the quilt. The scrappy border really puts it over the top.

  5. LOVE your brights with the dark background, Anja! Night Quilter? I just made a (Modified) Skinny Bin from one of Kitty's tutorials a couple of weeks ago. That was a super fun project!
