I used Kona Quicksilver and Black for the two background colours.
The Process Flow pattern also gives instructions for using 2.5-inch strips. These prints are from Ruby Star Society. I had purchased a scrap bag from Sewtopia, and the fabric pieces were 5 inches x 20 inches. So instead of cutting my fabric according to the pattern, I sewed strip sets.
I was then able to subcut the strip sets into the required units to piece the top.
A great version of 'Process Flow'. Love how you used what you had.
ReplyDeleteLove your colors! One of my favorite quilts in the book is the Betty quilt. Smithcindyk@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love your version of Process Flow. I think Somerville Circle calls my name. I love the circle but done without curves.
ReplyDeleteBetty is one of my favourites. The book has wonderful quilts to choose using two charm packs. djcutting2(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteJust one? That is difficult! I choose Process Flow because your deeper color choices and the pastel version were winners in my opinion. These will both work for donation quilts which I do with a local group called Comfort Quilts. I also see a version of Growing Vines in my future. Our house is nearly finished with restoration following a house fire in March. Growing Vines works with the new colors and design.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,

ReplyDeleteI love the colours and settings of both "Process Flow" here and "Taylor's Square" - red, white & blue version (option 11) on Heather's blog.
ReplyDeleteChoosing just one is really difficult, so many beauties in there. But I would probably start with the process flow. Your version is really inspiring, the colors really pop. And then you shared that it is also suitable for 2.5 inch strips, and I was so happy, I bought Ruby Stars Koi Pond 2.5 inch roll on impulse without a pattern in mind, just because I loved the fabric. I think it work beautifully with Process Flow. godocat@voightps.de

ReplyDeleteI especially like the Diagonal Joy pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love Process Flow - black and grey version- I love how you shared how to use your stash to make it - Beautiful
