OMG - It's a Friday Finish...Finally...

My Plus Quilt has been finished since March.  I finally decided to get it quilted and set it as my June OMG goal.  And it is the last of my Q2 Finish Along goals.

I decided to keep it simple and did FMQ loops in the background.  I wanted the pluses to pop, so I left them unquilted.


Striped binding for the win.


Just waiting for a new baby, and then it can go to its forever home.

    Everyone seems to be doing the "plus" quilts. I am ignorant on this issue. Is there a reason they are so popular?

    Looks delightful! Great idea to just quilt the background! And to keep it simple. That's how to build your confidence (says I who is still afraid to FMQ on a whole quilt despite all the awesome practicing on small pieces I've accomplished!) :) XO

    The quilt is very nice. I love the binding, it makes the quilt pop I think. With your quilting the pluses do pop, and stand out which is a nice effect. Congrats on finishing it!

    What a great quilt. Sticking with loops for the background really makes those pluses pop. The new baby is sure to love it.
