We've been learning how to make 3-inch and 4-inch finished HST's using various methods: two-at-a-time, four-at-a-time, and eight-at-a-time. It's been great learning new techniques.
The tutorial for Block #13 is out....2-inch HST's....oh my....
It's amazing what can be done with a simple HST. These blocks are terrific.
ReplyDeleteI really like Diagonal, but maybe it's just because it's all blues. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours. I'm waiting until I'm over this cold before attempting the 2 inch HST's. Could you let me know when I can mail my squares.
ReplyDeleteHST. Time consuming but I love em
ReplyDeleteHST's are so versatile as shown by your blocks.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I always have such a difficult time deciding on colors/placement when I'm doing a sampler BOM. One of the things I like about quilting is how there is always something new to learn. Keep up the good work! XO
ReplyDeleteThey are all looking great!! I do love HSTs and it's fun how versatile they can be. Looking forward to seeing the next one!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a great job making these. A Quilt Along for HST is such a great premise. I usually only make two at a time, but it's nice to know of other ways, especially if a whole bunch are needed. You'll be fine with 2"ers.
ReplyDeleteLove these! I may have to go check out her block samplers! And add that to my "list" Will you make a quilt with all your sampler blocks?
