And yet another forgotten Friday finish. Maritime Modern Quilt Guild did a 6-inch mini mini swap.
I decided to make pinwheels from tiny HST's. This is the second time I've done pinwheels in a mini mini, and I quite like it. Yes, there is snow in the backyard. The swap was originally scheduled for March (when I took the photo), but due to a snowstorm, our meeting was cancelled. The swap was postponed until June.
I received this awesome mini mini from Crystal. Those are tiny EPP hexies...wow.
I've been so busy that I haven't thought about making more mini minis, but I think it's time to work on some designs. Have a great weekend!
They're both wonderful and on a hot day, like today, that snow looks pretty good....lol.
ReplyDeleteHa, great minds...you and I each posted today about a minimini! Love yours. Don't love the snow even though some in a drink might be nice right about now lol!
ReplyDeleteCute mini!
ReplyDeleteI just thought the snow was because it was Canada! My husband was in Alberta and BC in June, and he had snow and sleet and 40C-plus temperatures.
I love that there is snow in your photo. After a long day in the hot sun, it's refreshing to be reminded of winter! I really like the tonal color subtlety in your pinwheels, and I am always amazed at EPP hexies, but especially when they are so tiny.
ReplyDeleteOnce again two lovely minis, and like Yvonne I like the tonal variation in your pinwheels.
ReplyDeleteThose minis are way too cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat minis xx
ReplyDeleteIt's living happily on my bulletin board! Such cheery colours!
ReplyDeleteI could use a little of that snow right about now. Great mini!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely little mini minis. That snow looks pretty good right about now, since it is so stinking hot outside. Isn't funny how quickly time can fly?
