My October OMG is to finish this Letter A wall hanging I created using Jaybird Quilts' new book -- Alphabet Soup. I am going to challenge myself to do a little bit of hand quilting with perle cotton.
I have four goals for FAL Q4:
1. Letter A wall hanging (as above).
2. Gem Stones. I made these here back in February. It's time to figure out how to quilt these four wall hangings.
3. Zipper Pouches. I bought three zipper pouch kits from Connecting Threads a year ago. Time to buckle down and get them made.
4. Slippers. This is not a quilting project, but it's crafty. It's been a long time since I've done some knitting, so I thought this pattern would be a quick and easy way to give it another try. I wonder if I have any orange yarn....... 😃
I'm slowly making my way through my list of WIP's. I have high hopes to get them all done before the end of 2017.
Only 4 projects eh. Orange slippers would be ideal for you. I like your grouping of four wall hangings, I think some echoing would be nice oh and maybe some swirls.
ReplyDeleteHand quilting is a great idea. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck on your project.
ReplyDeleteI love that cartoon. Good luck with your goals Anja. I love those minis!
