I had the opportunity to test a pattern for Joanne @
Canuck Quilter Designs. I tested
On the Fence which was released today (along with two other patterns).
I had some great green prints in my stash. While I was cutting the fabrics, I made a last-minute decision to change things up and add some purple.
Purple made the star block pop.
This was a great pattern to make -- it was easy and fun to piece.
Although I had the inner border cut and ready to piece, I decided that I preferred no borders.
I had hoped to get this quilted before the pattern was released, but...you know...life....😉
Joanne's new patterns are on sale for a week, so make sure you stop by.
Happy October.
I really like the decision to add in the splash of purple. It looks great!
