Pattern Testing - On The Fence

I had the opportunity to test a pattern for Joanne @ Canuck Quilter Designs.  I tested On the Fence which was released today (along with two other patterns).

I had some great green prints in my stash.  While I was cutting the fabrics, I made a last-minute decision to change things up and add some purple.

Purple made the star block pop.

This was a great pattern to make -- it was easy and fun to piece.

Although I had the inner border cut and ready to piece, I decided that I preferred no borders.

I had hoped to get this quilted before the pattern was released,😉

Joanne's new patterns are on sale for a week, so make sure you stop by.

Happy October.

  2. What a great quilt! Congrats on the testing help.

  3. The purple with all that lovely green make that star pop.

  4. your choice of purple knocked this one out of the park! love it!

  5. Oh wow Anja this is such a pretty quilt! I love Joanne’s designs but your choice to put in the purple is added icing on the cake!

  6. The purple really pops. Think orange 🍊 would work?

  7. You did a great job! I like the colours you chose!

  8. The purple star really shines among the green. I love it!
