On Monday, I gave a
sneak peek of my January project for the
Mighty Lucky Quilting Club.
I present my new wall hanging.
I tried three new things with this project: bias tape, curved piecing, and flower FMQ. Thanks to my friend Linda @
Scrapmaster for talking me off the ledge and then through the FMQ process.
And because the snow was there, a snow photo.

Lovely! How did you attach the bias tape to your quilt? sew down on each edge? Fused?
ReplyDeleteI wish you could see my face! I am smiling and smiling! I just love this! What's Scrapmaster? Like Stairmaster but for quilters?! Gorgeous fabric and gorgeous FMQ!!
ReplyDeletePS Love your new profile photo! In orange. In a quilt shop. :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is so cool Anja! I love how you dotted the "j" with an orange flower - such a sweet and appropriate touch!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Your fmq looks great, and the bias letters are beautiful! I'd say you passed this challenge with flying colours :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you spelled your name with the bias tape! Such a fun idea! And your quilting is great. It's a wonderful finish!
ReplyDeleteThree new things all in one project. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOf course, it had to be orange.
