It's time for Round 5 of the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) hosted by Gail @ Quilting Gail. Once I got passed the stress and nervousness of designing a quilt based on input from others, I'm actually enjoying this SAHRR. I had planned to make my quilt top well before the actual event, but here I am, just like you, making each round week-by-week.
Round 5 is being hosted by Wendy @ Pieceful Thoughts of my Quilting Life.
I cut some 2-inch squares of Kona Canary, Citrus, Sunny, and Corn Yellow.
Add some triangles.
Each week, there will be a linky party hosted by the blogger who designed that week's round.
I really like how your quilt is turning out, Anja. It seems only right that your center star should be surrounded by some sparkling stars, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very modern look! Great job.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your random placement of those Wonky Stars, Anja!
ReplyDeleteI’m loving your creative process! This will be a great quilt when finished!
ReplyDeleteThat is cool to have a few more stars to go with your center.
ReplyDeleteOh, no.....two more rounds...yikes. I was thinking only one. Love what you did with your stars, now to see if I come up with something for this round on this block, or go to my other block.
ReplyDeleteHi Anja! These little wonky stars really pull out those colors and highlight your center medallion. Nice choice on the fabrics - they look perfect-o. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteLove the gold and yellow stars!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Anja - those stars are shining!
ReplyDeleteAnja your wonky stars are shining brightly in this round. It’s a great way to balance the checkerboard. I’m enjoying seeing your quilt progress with all f the fun fabrics you are using.
