WIP Wednesday - Commissioned Baby Quilts

Last week, I was given the opportunity to make two commissioned baby quilts.  The customer picked the colours.  I went fabric shopping on Friday and cut fabric on the weekend.

The customer is hoping to get them as quickly as possible, and because it is a simple layout, I was able to get both tops pieced this week.

I think easy loop FMQ to finish them off this weekend.  They finish around 40 x 46 inches.

  1. Love the quilts but I have gotten sidetracked with the background...no snow? How can that be? :)

  2. Our lives must be linked because I've been commissioned to make 2 baby quilts in the past week or so as well! How crazy of a coincidence is that?! Lol. You're much quicker than I though. One top is nearly pieced and the supplies for the other was bought today. I think FMQ loops would look lovely on these, though I love loops on patchwork like this. :)

  9. That is quick work! Squares make great baby quilts - lots of colour but not too precious as they have to survive lots of use and washing.
