Beothuk Star Quilt Along - Finished Top

I'm happy to report that I kept up with the Beothuk Star QAL hosted by Sandra @ Musings of a Menopausal Melon.  It started out with a gazillion HSTs, but then everything pieced together quickly.

You can see my individual blocks (one block, two colourways)  here that form the entire quilt.

Here's my quilt top without the border.

And the finished quilt top.

Another quilt top to join my pile of tops that need to be quilted.  I need to find time to get those quilts finished, but I keep starting new projects.  😊

  1. I love the green star in the centre! As for getting them quilted you may need to set a small rule one new project only after one top is quilted..lol

  2. This color combo is terrific! How do you quilt your tops - I feel like I have seen a gazillion in the last few weeks and can’t recall if you do on a domestic machine, longarm or combo. Good luck with the quiling. Hope to finish mine today if I can get my machine to cooperate (it started skipping stitches last night.

  6. Hi Anja! Wow, wow, WOW! That green star is just the highlight of the quilt. It shines like no other and it really gives the quilt top a different vibe with just four color choices. I absolutely LOVE this. LOVE it. I can hardly wait to see how you quilt it. Don't take too long, please! ~smile~ Roseanne

  10. Yours is one of my favorites of this pattern. Are you more of a piecing lover than a quilting lover like me? Or do you just happen to be behind? :) I do like quilting but not a much as piecing.
