This is a pattern by Kitty @ Night Quilter. The pattern will be available shortly. It didn't take too long to piece the first leg.
Kitty shared a tip of using a longer stitch length when joining sections. If things don't line up and you have to fix, it's easier to take out longer stitches than tiny stitches. I found this helpful. And then there was a bottom half.
I was in a groove, so the top didn't take too long to piece together.
Stay tuned for a finished block, but I'm not sure what will become of the block.

That is a fun block! I can’t wait to see what else is going on in her quilt.
ReplyDeleteA great tip that I use, I will sometimes take just a few larger stitches across a point I'm trying to match up. Looks like a fun block!
ReplyDeleteI really make much better blocks when I use a basting stitch first for joining paper piecing segments. I'm always amazed at those who can post every day in December. It's a really busy time of year!
ReplyDeleteRunning Man looks very interesting. I can see a whole group of figures jumping and running across a white background.
ReplyDeleteI love this block! I'm definitely going to need to make some runners when the pattern is available :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is really cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a really cool block! Blogging every day must be extremely difficult - I'm finding it hard to blog weekly! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun block, Kitty made a super tiny version of this one didn't she? I really like the larger scale.
