WIP Wednesday - Summer Sampler 2019

You may recall that I abandoned the Summer Sampler 2019 last month.  I pieced the 17 completed blocks into a quilt top.  I took photos, but I wasn't happy with them.  And then I got sidetracked and forgot to take more photos.

But after looking at the photos again, I find them interesting.

This one almost looks like a painting.

I have the binding fabric chosen, but I haven't decided on a quilting plan yet.  But it's a pretty safe bet that it's going to get an all-over stipple -- quickest way to get it finished.  😉

  3. You've done a great job of mixing up these blocks, finding a way to get 17 blocks to "go" with their friends and it's all pieced. I'd say that was fantastic. Are the blocks all the same size? I like the idea of getting it done -- I use a stipple frequently as it is usually pretty subtle and the quilt can shine more than the quilting. Have fun finishing it.
