TGIFF - Sewcial Bee Sampler

This is yet another UFO I finished over the Christmas break.  This is the Sewcial Bee Sampler.  I sewed along with Sandra @ Musings of Menopausal Melon and Tish @ Tish's Adventure in Wonderland via text.  I last shared an update in April 2018.

I used Michael Miller Fairy Frost and a white tone-on-tone for the background.  There are 25 blocks in the sampler, but I decided to call it quits after 12 blocks.

This finishes 37 x 50 inches.  I found a leftover piece of wide backing in my stash that was just the right size.

For a quick finish, I did an all-over stipple in white thread.

I love using Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 batting in my quilts.

  2. I love that you had a perfect backing on hand as a leftover from a wide backing. Knowing when to stop clearly worked out for the best here. :)
