Patty @ Elm Street Quilts is hosting Bag It 2016. Patty shares a lot of great bag tutorials.
I thought I'd make a drawstring bag for a Christmas gift instead of buying a gift bag. I love this pattern from Jeni @ In Color Order.
I love this Cotton + Steel Christmas print.
And this awesome print for the inside.
You have until Friday to link up any bags you've made this fall. Patty has some great sponsors for prizes.
Happy bag making!
I have made a number of those drawstring bags. They are simple and look great. Your Cotton and Steel prints are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made any bags, yours do look lovely, and very tempting. Pretty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric for that bag. Thanks for linking up with the Elm Street Quilts Bag It.
ReplyDeleteLove your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteAnja, it's just delightful!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Anja! Much better than buying a gift bag :)
ReplyDeleteNice colour combo!
ReplyDeleteAwesome bag! I love that tutorial, it does make some quick and easy gifts.
ReplyDeleteI made some bags a few years ago and they get recycled every year within my immediate family. Wrapping presents is now a breeze: just open bag, insert gift, pull string closed and tie complex knot to detect peeking.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely bag and a gift, all on its own.
ReplyDeleteI finally tried out this pattern and love it! Great bag
