TGIFF - More Pillow Fun

Okay...I may never make another quilt again.  😊  Pillows are so quick and easy -- instant gratification.

Last year, I attempted to play along with the EPP Party hosted by Mister Domestic.  I did not succeed and only managed three blocks -- this is Block #5, Vibrant Star.

I am not going to get around to finishing these blocks, so I added a border -- voilà, a 14-inch pillow.

I attempted free motion quilting on my domestic Singer.  It's not bad, but I'm not totally happy.  My Singer is a workhorse, but she doesn't like free motion quilting much.

It's easier to get photos of pillows because they're small.

Now to make pillows out of the other two blocks.  And then another WIP crossed off the list!!

If you have a finish this week, consider sharing it at:

Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday @ Sarah Goer Quilts
Can I Get a Whoop Whoop? @ Confessions of a Fabric Addict
Finished or Not Friday @ Busy Hands Quilts
Needle and Thread Thursday @ My Quilt Infatuation

Very pretty, indeed! A finish is a finish no matter how small! And just what will you do with all these pillows?

You are on a roll! Pillows and smaller makes can be so incredibly satisfying. :)

Love the shot of it on the black chair! I am thinking I need to stack the covers and rotate them monthly to give a fresh new look to the living room. I have a lot of pillow forms though so a lot are out all the time ha! This is beautiful and the quilting is great IMHO.

It sounds like you've found the perfect solution for those orphan blocks! I love the colours you chose for this one Anja!

I have been making pillows lately and they are very satisfactory! I love this one -- the piecing really highlights the floral pattern on that fabric and it's just lovely.

Yay for cushions! I find they are great fun to make too. You can add piping and pompoms and decorative buttons. Hours of fun and practical too.
I like your fabric choices in this cushion. The fussy cut floral in two diamonds and the great interplay of orange, navy and green add loads of pop.

Beautiful pillow, Anja. I love how fearlessly you attempt FMQ. I am terrified.

I really like the dark frame around it - looks really cool with the cushion in it!
