This is my first version. All the fabrics were from my stash.
A close up of the colours and prints.
And this is my second version. It's been raining and so dark in the morning and evenings, I haven't been able to get a photo. So I took it to work, but forgot to iron out the wrinkles. Oops.
These fabrics were also from my stash.
And now the hard part...deciding on a quilting motif.

Oh, I love how dramatic your first version turned out, Anja. Both are lovely. There is a lot to be inspired by for the quilting. I hope you have fun finishing these with whatever quilting speaks to you!
ReplyDeleteYes! Yes! Yes! I love how both turned out! I still need to quilt all of mine too. January will be here before you know it.
ReplyDeleteLove them both. I am leaning towards the second one.
ReplyDeleteThey are both terrific! I’m especially fond of the first one pictured, and now I want to make one, too! It’s my favorite of all I’ve seen! And I’ve seen some pretty nice Fireburst finishes! I can’t wait to see them all quilted up!
ReplyDeleteThey both look great, but as others have said I like the first one best. Can't wait to see how you quilt them.
ReplyDeleteI too like the first one best. And you can't go wrong with a nice and simple grid for quilting.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices Anja! Love the first one - those colors are beautiful - I have to get mine quilted too. I am debating a spiral quilt for it. Can't wait to see yours!!
