TGIFF - Have a Jolly Little Christmas

On New Year's Eve, I finally got around to piecing my blocks for the Have a Jolly Little Christmas QAL hosted by Lorna @ Sew Fresh Quilts back in 2017.  I shared my progress here.

I did an all-over loop motif in gray thread.  I've been wanting to be more creative in my quilting, but the priority is getting stuff finished...and hopefully out the door.

The gray blended in with some of the colours, but I love the texture.

So I guess I'm already for Christmas 2019 -- 11 months early.  LOL

If you have a finish this week, consider sharing it at:

  1. The gray thread was a perfect choice and I think the loop quilting looks great for the mini. You're making great progress on finishing things up!

  6. The loop quilting looks perfect on this one! I just finished a Christmas quilt, too, so I guess we're both ready for Christmas extra early :)

  7. I really love the loop motif on this one. It makes me think of falling snow for some reason. I hope I can have my Jolly Christmas Quilt finish soon. Mine is way over due and half finished :)

  8. Why choose a different FMQ motif when you've got that loopy meander down pat?! I mean really .... the stitch length, the density, the curves ... everything is nice and consistent and round. I give you an A+, my friend!
