TGIFF - Retreat Bag

Welcome back to Nova Scotia, Canada for Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday.  There are still spots available if you are interested in hosting -- click here to sign up.

I started this project back in August, but then got sidetracked.  😊  This is the Retreat Bag which is a free pattern from Emmaline Bags.

I don't know why I procrastinated...it's an easy pattern...basically a zippered pouch with an added element.

There are two inside pockets.  I haven't decided what I'll use this bag for yet.

There's a wire frame around the top that keeps the bag open and gives it some structure.  I see myself making a few more of these in the future.

Do you have a finish this week?

What a cute pouch, and I like how the wire frame holds it open!

Love the colour of your bags, the wire frame is a nice way to keep it open and easier to use.

Cute little bag! I especially like the second picture of it. The symmetry makes it look like a modern piece of artwork.

Your Retreat bag turned out nicely. I haven't tried using a wire frame in my bag making yet. It looks like fun. Thanks for hosting T.G.I.F.F. this week.

This is fabulous. I'm so envious of you being able to sew something not only pretty, but so useful!

Well, that wire frame is really a game changer, huh? I'm trying to think of how that frame could be conducive to different uses. Let us know what you end up storing in it!

The colors are so Anja!!! And the neatness of every seam makes me jealous :-D
May be if I should add this bag to my to-do list in 2019.
