It's not like there aren't enough WIP's in my sewing room that need some attention, but I didn't feel like working on any of them, so I decided to start working on a commissioned baby quilt that needs to be finished by the end of August.
A previous customer asked for another chevron baby quilt. Kona Sprout is the focus of this quilt.

Hi Anja: I love that Kona Sprout in the baby quilt. It sets off the chevrons quite nicely.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa, love that green, and its name is too cool! I just love those baby birds too. :-) and hey, why work on a WIP when you can start something this happy (AND you're getting paid to do it--bonus!)
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Anja! I love how you have the animal prints in there. You notice them so much!
ReplyDeleteSprout is a great name for that colour! The giraffe are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThis pattern looks familiar! :) Lovin' those Anne Kelle prints, but you knew I would!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt, love the giraffes. Did you know that Sprout is a slang word for a baby/toddler over here in Wales
