TGIFF - Glamp Stitchalot

This finish has been a long time coming....six months to be exact.  And sadly, it's not the oldest WIP in my stash.

This quilt began back in June when I went on a quilting adventure with Jenn @ A Quarter Inch from the Edge, Julia @ Jada's Quilting Adventure, and Dena @ No Frickin' Blog Yet.  You can read about this quilt's journey:

Ta da!!  Simple loop free motion quilting for a quick finish.

A colourful striped backing.

Some close up photos of each of the rows.

Another quilt for me.  I need to create a rotation system so all these quilts get used.

This is the second of my FAL Q4 Goals.  I've got one week to finish the third and final one.  Not sure I can do it, but I'm going to give it my best effort.

Merry Christmas.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful relaxing holiday season (hopefully with some quilting thrown in the mix).

  3. Congratulations for tackling so much paper piecing in this quilt. I love how it came together with the solids and the scrappy binding is perfect, too. Merry Christmas!

  12. This is such a happy rainbow inspired finish, Anja! Love the row of houses at the bottom. That's my favourite row! Wishing you a happy holiday and all the best for the coming new year! See you in 2017!

  13. Oh Anja it turned out SO lovely! Bet it feels so good to have another checked off! As for rotation system, one of my early quilting friends told me she had to have at least a quilt for each month of the year, so I started that, and try to switch out my quilts once a month on our bed. Some months there are like three piled on top, but they all seem to rotate this way!
