The Grim Ripper

I thought my Freefall quilt was the oldest WIP...I was wrong...so very wrong.  It seems I had a WIP from October 2015.  And the sad thing is....it was a mini.  It got buried under some other projects.

Here is my finished Grim Ripper -- 9 x 10 inches.

 This is a free pattern.

No fancy quilting...just an all-over stipple in the background.

I have no purpose for this mini, but I'm glad it's finished.

  1. I have to say that I find stippling very hard so I love that you toss it off as just a simple stipple. Yours looks great and I love the humour in this little quilt.

  2. Well, hooray for finding the Grim Ripper and turning it into a finish! It looks like a fun one to display around Halloween as suggested above!

  3. My mind never saw this as the Grim Ripper I only read Grim Reaper! Funny how your eyes see what they want to see. But the Grim Ripper is much cuter! I like this and think it will be fun to hang each October in your sewing room - maybe it will be a sort of talisman and you won't have to rip any seams that month. ;-)

  4. This is hilarious! Reminds me of Sunbonnet Sue. But yay for getting it done, and it less than five years!
