The QAL starts in January, and you can get all the details here.
I pulled some 3-inch squares from my stash -- received them in a guild swap some time ago. I love the colours and prints, but I never knew what to do with them.
I was on the road for work for two days, so this was a great project to work on in the hotel last night -- a little practice before the QAL starts.
My stitch length is not consistent, but the pieces are sewn together.

ReplyDeleteLove your happy fabrics! These are going to be great for honing your hand piecing skills!
ReplyDeletei'm playing along with this one as well.
ReplyDeleteHand piecing like that is so relaxing. You are getting a head start which feels good and using up stash which is also a plus. It promises to look so colourful. Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteIt will be fun following your progress on this! I'd join you, but I'm not one for hand piecing
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use up scraps, by tackling a new skill! Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss.
